Mediawan Kids & Family is the division of Mediawan, the European independent multigenre studio, dedicated to the production and distribution of children and family content for audiences worldwide.
The company is the European leader in animation and produces premium TV shows, high-end feature films and digital content for kids, tweens, young adults and families. Mediawan Kids & Family houses four production labels headquartered in France: the well-established animation label Method Animation, brand-new 2D animation TV label for kids Somewhere Animation, live-action shows for youth and family studio Elliott Studio, and Mediawan Kids & Family Cinema. New international companies have joined the group lately: Palomar Animation in Italy, Wildseed Studios in the UK, and Submarine Animation in the Netherlands.

The Magnificent Life of Marcel Pagnol, animated biopic directed by Sylvain Chomet (The Triplets of Belleville, The Illusionnist…) is in production.
In February, the British live-action and animation studio Wildseed Studios joins Mediawan Kids and Family through the purchase of a majority stake.
ON Kids and Family becomes Mediawan Kids & Family and launches 2 new labels: Somewhere Animation (2D) et Elliott Studio (tweens live-action).
Little Nicholas : Happy As Can Be directed by Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre is in the Official Selection in Cannes and triumphs at Annecy Festival (Cristal of the Best Movie).
The Little Nicholas enters the Grévin Museum.
Miraculous music video clips reached more than 400 million views worldwide.
ON Kids and Family partners with the successfull author Joann Sfar and creates the label Joann Sfar’s Magical Society dedicated to the development of the universes of the writer. The first movie Little Vampire is launched the year after in France and wordlwide.
ON Entertainment joins the group Mediawan and become ON Kids and Family.
The Little Prince, the movie directed by Marc Osborne, becomes a hit at the worldwide box office with 50 millions entries and wins a BAFTA Award and a César for Best Animated Movie.
The first season of Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir (coproduced with ZAG) is aired all around the world.
Launch of the first season of the successful series Robin Hood - Mischief in Sherwood in France and worldwide.
The labels Method Animation, Onyx Films and Chapter 2 (Dimitri Rassam) merge inside ON Entertainment.
Launch of the 3D series, The Little Prince, adapted from the masterpiece of Antoine de Saint Exupéry.
One year later, the statue from the series enters the Musée Grévin.
Release of Renaissance, the first 3D animated black and white picture to use motion capture techniques. The movie wins the same year the Cristal of Best Animated Movie at Annecy Festival.
