Annecy 2024 Press Conference
Following the Mediawan Kids & Family press conference at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, we would like to share our current and upcoming news with you!
LATEST NEWS:
• We’re partnering with Good Hero to produce the series Tales of the Miruu (Method Animation).
• We’re co-developing with TF1 a series based on the iconic Osamu Tezuka's character Astroboy (Method Animation).
• We join forces with France Televisions to produce the series Tuff Pom (Wildseed Studios x Method Animation).
• We partner with BBC and Sun & Moon to bring the series Duck & Frog to international audiences.
Our unique talents continue to strive to offer outstanding stories for kids and families:
• At Mediawan Kids & Family Cinema with the development and production of ambitious feature films: Twisted, Meow-Woof, Spike (Submarine), Dansker (Submarine) and many more…
• At Method Animation with new originals and IP adaptations:
--> Pango, a 2D new original preschool series based on the famous game app by Studio Pango.
--> Masked Cinderella, an adventure series where classic fairy tales meet the modern day.
• At Somewhere Animation, with colorful 2D projects such as the new cartoon/sitcom Chococat & Me.
• At Elliott Studio, our studio specialized in live-action shows for youth and family, with League of Light, a series in coproduction with our British label Wildseed Studios.
• At Wildseed Studios with the offbeat and humorous series Tuff Pom in coproduction with Method Animation for France Televisions.
• At Submarine with the development of new premium series:
--> Infinite Kung Fu, a 2D action/adventure series for adults.
--> Kiranmalla, a 3D adventure/comedy for kids based on book series by Sayantani DasGupta.
• At Mediawan Kids and Family Distribution, managing a rich-content catalog of 2,500 half hours of programs produced within the Group and third-party acquisitions such as the two BBC’s series: Duck and Frog, a dialogue free slapstick comedy and Maddie + Triggs, a unique series that tells the adventures of a visually impaired young girl and her dog.
